About the Society

D.A.V Educational and Welfare Society is actively engaged in youth, women and community welfare activities through vocational training, education and awareness programmes. These initiatives are supported by various government departments and organizations with the aim of uplifting people living in underprivileged areas of North West Delhi, particularly Mangolpuri, Sultanpuri and nearby regions.

Training & Skill Development

The society runs multiple vocational and skill development programmes to help individuals become financially independent. These include Computer Training, Cutting, Tailoring & Embroidery, Beauty Culture & Mehendi, Jewellery Making, Screen Printing, Book Binding and many more.

Health & Medical Initiatives

The Society also contributes significantly to healthcare services. It runs DOTS Centres, Immunization Programs for children, and awareness campaigns for diseases such as HIV/AIDS and Leprosy.

OPD services for senior citizens in Sultanpuri and general OPD in Kirari are actively serving the community. Specialized medical services such as Orthopaedics, Gynaecology, ENT, Eye care and diagnostic facilities are also part of the long-term vision.

Our Mission & Objective

The primary objective of the society is to improve the economic condition of people living in resettlement colonies. By providing skill-based education and employment opportunities, the society enables women and youth to achieve financial independence and improve their quality of life.

Many women who receive training start working from home or secure jobs, allowing them to support their families and provide better education to their children.

Future Vision

The society aims to empower women through education, social welfare and self-employment opportunities directly at their doorstep. It also strives to provide better healthcare facilities, awareness and support systems for underprivileged communities.
