Homeless Resource Centre

Our Mission Helping people help themselves through exceptional human service and community collaboration.

We are running Homeless Resource Centers (HRCs) in North-West zone of Delhi for homeless citizens in partnership with Samajik Suvidha Sangam, Government of NCT of Delhi. The HRCs are also continuously given mentoring & handholding support by the St. Stephens Mother NGO.

The HRC endeavors to improve the living conditions of the urban poor and empower them through a comprehensive approach that includes:

1. Providing permanent and temporary shelters
2. Conducting night rescue operations during the winter
3. Offering health facilities and awareness through health camps, referrals, street plays etc.
4. Facilitating rights such as Aadhar or UID enrollment, voter cards, and DTC bus passes
5. Increasing self reliance and economic independence through vocational training, self-help groups and opening bank accounts
6. Providing educational opportunities and literacy classes
